Founded in 1762 as a "communal brewery," the Nittenau Brewery, located in the heart of the Upper Palatinate Forest, can look back on a long tradition and now brews over 15 different beers.
In 2006, a new production building was built on the outskirts of Nittenau, including a beverage market. With modern technology, the traditional trade was rethought and an ideal place for creative work in brewing technology was created. The range of beers extends from excellently brewed, traditional Bavarian beer styles to creative specialty beers. The quality of the beers has been recognized with various medals at the European Beerstar.
A new process for producing non-alcoholic beers gave the Nittenau brewery a major boost in 2016. We consider the non-alcoholic beers brewed in our Nittenau brewery to be among the best in their genre.
