Nøddehuset (House of Nuts) sells world class roasted nuts. We have a small roastery in Denmark where we hand roast all the nuts following traditional Syrian traditions and recipes. The roastery was established in the city of Korsør in 2014. The machines were made by a Damascun blacksmith and were sailed all the way to Denmark. The owner of Nøddehuset was trained in how to roast nuts in a roastery founded in Damascus in 1885 so it is safe to say that Nøddehuset offers the best nuts in this part of the world !.
We never compromise when it comes to quality and we choose the best variety of large and fresh nuts. We then dry roast the nuts, which means that we roast them without using oil. This gives a crunchier and more tasty nut. We roast the nuts in a rotating cylinder at high heat and then we move the nuts to other cylinders to cool or to add salt or spices.
We only roast upon receiving orders so the nuts you receive are always freshly roasted.
