The basis for the stimulant (yes, caffeine is involved here) is water-neutral specialty coffee from the Hamburg Waterkant roastery. Using the cold brew process, it steeps for up to 18 hours - for a full, real coffee taste, completely without bitter substances. There is also a subtle one Licorice licorice note (no salmiac!) and forms an unexpectedly harmonious flavor combination that even convinces licorice skeptics. The black liqueur with a clear soul and a good portion of “awake” becomes the perfect companion on long nights as well as on relaxed summer days on ice with, for example, almond milk, vanilla or as an ingredient for the next espresso lakrini - coffee liqueur has rarely been so exciting.
