Olissey is a family business producing organic & premium olive oil, founded by a journalist father, a pharmacist-biologist daughter, and an engineer son, united by their love of the land. Located on the heights of the Bay of Tunis, the estate perpetuates a thousand-year-old olive-growing tradition through artisanal production, without fertilizers or pesticides, with respect for the Earth and for people.
Its olive trees planted at the beginning of the 20th century by Sicilian and Andalusian olive growers produce exclusive varieties typical of this Mediterranean cradle of olive oil.
The olives are carefully selected and hand-picked at optimum ripeness. They are cold pressed within 24 hours of harvest.
Three years after the launch of Olissey, our oils have already been honored with more than 50 leading international awards. The “Extra Virgin Olive Oil Quality Award - Mario Solinas” of the International Olive Oil Council based in Madrid, the “NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition” based in New York and the “Biol International prize” based in Bari, Italy, are the three most prestigious olive oil competitions in the world. Not forgetting the platinum, gold and silver medals at the Tunisian National Oil Office (ONH), Dido International and Olivonomy competitions! In 2022 and 2023, Nadia was elected best female producer of the year in Tunisia (Dido international - Tunisian Olive Oil Women’s Network).
