OMÈNA is a French homewear and accessories brand born from a deep connection with India, travel and the daily lives of today's women.
The brand's story begins during a year spent in England, within an Indian family. This immersion profoundly marked the founder Margaux, of OMÈNA, particularly through the richness of the textiles, colours, prints and the Indian artisanal know-how passed down from generation to generation.
A few years later, OMÈNA was born with a simple goal: to create strong, practical and comforting pieces, designed to accompany women in their real daily lives.
The brand is distinguished by:
• its iconic and bold prints — tiger, bandana and leopard,
• its reversible and sometimes customizable accessories,
• its versatile pyjamas, designed to be worn both at home and outdoors,
• its blend of Indian craftsmanship and French manufacturing.
The fabrics are handcrafted in India using the ancient block print technique, a printing process carried out by hand using engraved wooden blocks. Each piece thus possesses a unique character, with slight variations that testify to the handcrafted work.
Some creations are then made in France in our seamstress's workshop in Poitiers, while others are made in India in mini-series or on demand in order to limit overproduction and offer a more responsible fashion.
