100% of Pom'Evasion orchards are engaged in a regenerative agriculture approach.

Farmers are implementing practices, such as the drastic reduction of phytosanitary products or the presence of hedges and flower strips, which make it possible to regenerate the biodiversity and ecosystems of their orchards. All these actions promote soil biodiversity and allow good nutrition in orchards: quality apples and healthy orchards! •A support approach in the heart of the orchards.

The Omie team of agricultural engineers works alongside the advisor of the group of arborists to support the agricultural transition. In 2023, we organized training on the management of biological soil fertility and financed soil analyzes allowing producers to improve their practices.

In 2024, we chose to work on the manufacture and use of bio-fertilizer on the farm to promote soil and plant health, with a first training course which took place in January. •A bonus for the agroecological transition.

Farmers have their own tools, which makes it possible to use downgraded fruits, the percentage of which can reach 30% of the harvest.

The purchase price of apples is set by the farmers themselves.

This is a floor price reviewed every year to ensure a remunerative income for farmers. A bonus of 10 cents per kilo of apples, also representing around 10 cents per bottle of juice, is allocated to producers to enable them to implement agroecological practices.

This bonus is calculated according to the cost of the transition.

It makes it possible to put in place infrastructure for biodiversity such as flower strips and hedges, as well as practices promoting living soil, capable of storing carbon, such as reducing tillage and establishing plant cover.
