Full-bodied Muscovado sugar

Full-bodied Muscovado sugar is natural, unrefined cane sugar. Coming from Mauritius, it is distinguished by its very moist texture and its subtle notes of licorice, a hint of caramel. Unlike most sugars, muscovado is not separated from its molasses; which gives it such a captivating scent. Excellent when combined with dark chocolate; it is wonderful in brownies and fruitcakes.
