Zaatar is a combination of spices and aromatic herbs.  Zaatar is originally from Palestine and widely used in Arab countries for its medicinal properties.  It has been known as a popular breakfast throughout the Middle East, giving a special touch to bread with olive oil.  Due to the mixture of species it contains, it is a perfect antiseptic, antimicrobial and digestive ally.  In the Middle East it is believed that consumption helps to obtain greater concentration and promotes blood circulation.
