Since 2012, Päälä tees are designed and printed by artists in the Amsterdam-based atelier. It all started from the idea of taking a tee as art-canvas. Still rooted in the art community, Päälä designs are made through playing, discovering and doing. The designs are handprinted onto shirts by artists using silkscreenprint technology. The team’s expert knowledge in silkscreenprinting assures that each shirt retains its timeless print for years to last.
