Under the acronyms of “Pablo est une fille” hides my real name: Pauline Bloquel. Trained as an architect, I have always been driven by a passion for drawing, and by the need to express my own vision of the city. Now fully illustrator, I let myself be guided by my inspiration ranging from animal portraits, floral landscapes to the transcription of my favorite places. Faithful to my fine point pen, this varied repertoire finds its singularity in the use of a particular technique called pointillism, which gives my drawings a realistic and delicate rendering halfway between scientific engraving and poetic illustration.
