During the summer holidays, Dario accompanies his grandfather to work. HAS On a tricycle, they race down the town until they reach the seaside. The machine is well oiled, everyone knows what they have to do. Gino sells ice cream, but unlike other street vendors, he chooses the flavors for his customers: a "risky" ice cream for the shy young man, a "holiday" ice cream for the tired shopkeeper. Customers crowd around the small wooden cart until an old man arrives and demands "an ice cream that tastes like childhood." With the help of his grandson, Gino will have to create an ice cream with a childhood flavor to satisfy the old man who, as agreed, will return the next day.
