Papyrus Gems are origami jewelry and designs that tell a story. They are lovingly designed and handmade by Inés, a Spanish architect and designer. They revalue a material as humble as paper, uniting an ancient traditional technique, origami, with a timeless design aesthetic. Unique Japanese papers and high grammage papers are selected to offer an exclusive and careful product. To protect the pieces, several layers of varnish are applied to the water, although they should not be submerged in water or stored in humid places. The figures have a meaning and tell a story of artisan production in which none will be the same as another and therefore will be unique, like our own stories.
