Cohobé Elevation - French Single Malt

" E“levation” is a very delicate whisky. Fans would call it “straight,” or “tight.” Apparently austere at first glance, it gradually distils notes, each more delicate than the last, in a play of flavors full of subtlety. To achieve this "elevation", original paths were taken, both for the distillation and for the choice of wood (French oak), and the result is there: a unique whisky, which gives pride of place to the grain and offers a thousand aromatic reflections when tasted. EYE: Blond gold. Clear and shiny. NOSE Élévation offers a remarkable finesse, slightly mineral. Delicate malty notes are expressed, followed by more floral notes (briar rose, narcissus), immediately followed by delicate fruity accents and spicy notes. PALATE Elevation swirls in the mouth, in a harmony of aromas of great finesse. The tannins are silky, the texture light but the flavors frank and very present, around slightly spicy floral notes, like pollen, with a long and gourmet finish. • French Pilsen type malt • Double distillation in Charentais still • 100% French chain aging • Intermediate barrel roasting • Wet cellars • Small batch processing of less than 5000 bottles • Cellulose plate filtration at cellar temperature • Long resting time before bottling 46% alc/vol
