Glendalough - Rose Gin - new packaging

In order to make this small batch gin really special, we had to completely rebalance our Wild Gin recipe and redistill it with additional fruits, flowers and spices… and of course lots of fresh rose petals. Three varieties of roses are used: the rare and fleeting wild rose of the Wicklow Mountains, the large and fragrant "Heritage rose" as well as the old and prized Damascus rose. These three flowers combine to give the gin its naturally pink color and its floral nature. In view of the delicate ingredients (petals), the distillation is even slower and more careful than for our Wild Gin and is carried out mainly thanks to the steam which extracts essential oils and flavors. After distillation, the gin is left to macerate with more roses to deepen the aromas and, of course, to give that pretty rosy hue. Nose: Bright lemon and blood orange, sweet notes of juniper, deep aroma and scent of fresh rose. Palate: pronounced rose petals, small berries, Turkish delight, citrus fruit with a sweet hue. Overall: Long and accompanied by floral notes linked to pink peppercorns and a touch of local spices. Unfiltered cold - 37.5% alc / vol
