Vermouth Silvio Carta - Vermouth Rosso

Unfortified vermouth made from Vernaccia di Oristano DOC Riserva aged under sail for 14 years in small Sardinian chestnut barrels. Botanicals handpicked at the optimal time and infused directly into the barrels. On the nose, aromas of maquis: rosemary, bay leaves, pine needles, resin and pine cone, all on a background of sea breeze. Intense on the palate, soft and round, in perfect balance with the alcohol. Flavors of aromatic herbs and ripe fruit followed by a firm, mineral finish. To be enjoyed on ice with a slice of orange or in a cocktail: negroni, americano, boulevardier... 18% alc/vol
