After 50 years of career, my grandmother passed the torch to me.
Why did I take over the family business?
First of all out of love for my grandmother. She is someone who meant a lot to me, especially since my mother left us when I was a young adult. She was a pillar for us, me, my brothers, my children.
And then these Pastilles des Savoies are my whole childhood!! What great times shared at the campsite in the summers when grandma went to the markets! She came back to the caravan and with my little brother we sorted and counted the tickets (ah ah ah there were a lot of them)!!
Finally, because I think it was my life mission, quite simply. I really liked my previous job, I was a manager in home sales. A contact profession that I find with you at events. I felt the enthusiasm of the people around me for natural products and my friends thought my story was cool.
So when it came to taking up the torch, my entrepreneur dad said to me one winter evening after a good raclette where we were all together as a family with grandma "You know how to sell Tupperware, you just have to sell grandma's pastilles"!!
It was obvious to him, surely…. It took me a few years to accept this challenge, it had to mature and when my heart decided to take the plunge, I left my job in September 2018 to devote myself entirely to this family project.
I am so happy with this decision and thank my dad and grandmother for trusting me.
