Our desire is to create simple, ergonomic and practical products that can go from the kitchen to the table, guaranteeing comfort of use on a daily basis. The design of our products is carried out in Bordeaux by our team of French designers. Each object is studied in order to offer you a real sensory and intuitive experience and to guarantee you comfort of use on a daily basis.
We all enjoy these moments spent in the kitchen. This is why we want to share with you, with our collections, a friendly and authentic experience.
OUR ZERO WASTE APPROACH
Pebbly has chosen to focus on natural and more sustainable materials by favoring glass, bamboo, wood, metal and more recently for its new collections, organic cotton. These materials have been carefully selected for their functional, more durable and environmentally friendly qualities.
We seek to reduce the amount of packaging used for our products after eliminating plastic as much as possible. our bread box, for example, is packaged in a reusable organic cotton bulk bag instead of a disposable cardboard box.
Pebbly participates in the transition to virtuous consumption by encouraging the purchase of food in bulk and by offering preservation solutions in reusable containers.
MANUFACTURING PLANTS
Our products are manufactured in human-sized factories in France, China, India and Vietnam.
Our bamboo products are made in small workshops located near the natural bamboo forests in eastern China in the Fujian region. The abundant and sustainably managed forests in these regions make it easy to obtain the raw material and manufacture our products there.
Our glass products are made in China in the northern regions. We use borosilicate glass which offers great thermal resistance. Glass is a natural, neutral and healthy material for food contact.
The manufacturing of our organic cotton products is done in India. They are certified by the GOTS label, the safest in organic cotton. This "Global Organic Textile Standard" certification integrates social and ecological aspects and is based on independent certification of the entire supply chain.
Finally, the manufacturing of our beeswax packaging is carried out in Vietnam.
Each Pebbly factory is audited by specialized independent international organizations (e.g. B.S.C.I). We thus ensure, thanks to these auditors, the protection of workers and the hours worked, their health and safety at work, the prohibition of child labor as well as the protection of the environment and natural resources. .
