The history of the Ranieri family is linked to the agricultural traditions of the Alta Tuscia Viterbese, an area nestled between Lake Bolsena and Umbria.
Farmers since 1948, they plow the dark volcanic earth of the countryside around the village of Grotte di Castro. Today the fourth generation has specialized in the cultivation and marketing of ancient varieties of legumes, cereals and tubers, guarded by the centuries-old work of farmers.
Roberta and Giuseppe, together with their son Davide, carry on a business reality that guarantees quality and sustainability at every stage of the supply chain. Safeguarding biodiversity, keeping traditions alive, supporting the work of farmers are the pillars of the mission that the Ranieri Family shares with a network of 45 agricultural realities in the area, with which it has established solid and lasting ties.
The high respect for the gastronomic and cultural value of agricultural products has led the company to follow traditional cultivation and processing techniques, such as harvesting and selection by hand. These are intertwined with the innovation of the modern storage and packaging line, thanks to which it guarantees both the correct conservation of its products without the use of chemicals, and the dynamic and flexible response to the diversified requests of customers
