
Black Chickpeas are an excellent food rich in proteins, starch and mineral salts. They are also a rich source of crude fiber. They have a wrinkled, irregular and black skin, they have an intense flavor with herbaceous notes that make them perfect even just cooked and consumed with extra virgin olive oil. Black chickpeas are rich in vitamins: B, C, E and K. Furthermore, unlike the common version, black chickpeas are particularly rich in iron. Our black chickpeas are known as "Black Pearls" because they are recognizable by their characteristic shape and color.
