Hulled lentil is a bright yellow legume with a sweet and delicate flavour.   Starting from the whole variegated lentil, grown in Italy with traditional and organic methods, respecting nature, we proceed through a mechanical process to dehull and remove the external tegument (peel).   With the 'decortication' process, no fundamental nutritional principle is eliminated.   All our legumes are grown in open fields without chemicals.   It is rich in nutritional and energetic properties such as group B vitamins and mineral salts.   Furthermore, they contain little fat and a lot of fiber, and are a notable source of iron and phosphorus.   They cook quickly and are more digestible than whole ones, which is why they are also suitable for children and the elderly.   Ideal for making soups, broths, creams and veloutés.
