The Lentil of Tuscia, very similar to the Lentil of Onano, is a particular variety grown exclusively in the areas of Alta Tuscia in the Viterbo area, outside the Onano Lentil area. In ancient times, lentils were given as gifts by the Romans with the wish that they would turn into coins and therefore bring good luck. The Lentil of Tuscia is characterized by a very small size, it is rich in nutritional and energy properties such as vitamins of group B, mineral salts.
