Barley is one of the cereals mainly used in the Mediterranean diet as a substitute for pasta, bread and rice.   Our barley is grown exclusively in Italy. ANDa cereal rich in phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, iron, calcium, silicon and zinc.   It contains a good quantity of micronutrients useful for maintaining health: 100 g of this cereal already represents 25% of the daily requirement of the two minerals.   Hulled Barley is one of the cereals richest in fiber and this is also evident from the large quantity of water that it is able to absorb during cooking: the volume of the final recipe is always abundant and, for this reason, it is one of the most appreciated and recommended to those who must follow a slimming diet.   Ideal for making delicious winter and summer recipes: to flavor soups, broths or side dishes and cold salads, as well as desserts.
