Yellow potatoes from the Viterbesi hills [EU only]

The yellow potatoes of the Viterbesi Hills have a compact, firm, yellow and not very floury pulp. Characterized by a typical aroma of the fresh product, just picked. The color and consistency of their pulp are due to the presence of carotenes. They are rich in minerals, vitamins and potassium. They fight hypertension and perform an anti-inflammatory action on the gastrointestinal system. They resist cooking well and are therefore ideal baked, boiled for hot or cold side dishes and soups. Once cooked, the pulp takes on an intense yellow colour. The production of our potatoes has ancient origins and has consolidated over time in an area where the mitigating action of Lake Bolsena and the fertile soil of volcanic origin contribute to making it unique and appreciated both in Italy and abroad, giving unique: the Alta Tuscia Viterbese.
