She works with watercolor and gouache to create detailed illustrations and patterns for use on printed products. She loves the quality that comes from working with traditional media. Hannah has always been a doer. From small books to doll clothes and everything in between. A self-taught artist, she founded Mermaid’s Coin in 2013 when she had her first child. Her one-woman business has developed significantly in recent years. Hannah now creates exclusive artwork for great brands, licenses her pattern designs and illustrations for use on products, and sells art and stationery. These days, she tries to balance her creative business with the work of raising two little people, herding cats, and jumping in the waves when the swell is rough. She is always inspired by the sea.
