APPELLATION AOP Chinon GRAPE VARIETIES Cabernet Franc 100% TERROIR This wine comes from the vineyards of St Louans where Bertrand's maternal family has been developing these terroirs since the 15th century. The soil composed of calcareous sands and millarges gives small concentrated grains with fine tannins. A wine for laying down. VINIFICATION Manual and mechanical harvesting. Harvest at full maturity. Total destemming, sorting table. Fermentation in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats. BREEDING Aging in vats until bottling. Traditional cork stopper. SERVICE Between 15° and 17°C AGING POTENTIAL 7 to 20 years Already brings a lot of pleasure in its youth, but will gain in complexity with the years. CERTIFICATION High Environmental Value COMMENTS AND TASTING This wine has a deep purple color, we find an alliance between aromatic complexity and a silky tannic presence. This wine will perfectly accompany all types of grilled or roasted meats.
