Granny's Rosé 2022 - Natural Wine - Organic

This natural rosé wine with a charming color, entirely vinified in our cellar in Courbevoie, from Grolleau grapes, from partner winegrowers south-east of Angers who work their vines organically. It is a press rosé, smooth and fruity, the aromas evoke summer in a garden where the scents of orange blossom, fresh grapefruit and raspberries mingle. We sipped it with a young Tomme cheese from Yvelines, on the most beautiful songs of Fairouz. To make this rosé, let's get these Grolleau grapes from the brilliant winegrowers Elisabeth and Greg Nouteau. They come from plots on the hillsides of Anjou. We harvest them early to obtain this very light rosé in alcohol (9% vol) 4.15 hours of road then arrived in Courbevoie we continue with the vinification. The grapes arrive at 8°C in the cellar, perfect for the press. A very gentle press of about 3 hours to extract just the right amount of color. The vinification is done entirely without inputs. The fermentation temperature is 18°C, higher than classic rosés (12-14°C) which gives it its smoky aromas and minerality. Bottled in the cellar. ZERO SULPHITE Happiness in a bottle 🙂
