Beau-Papa Orange Wine 2022 - Natural Wine

It is a long-macerated orange wine, complex with a powerful structure and aromas of a dessert with bitter orange peel and nuts. We sipped it with a Maroilles AOP, to the sound of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. We will harvest the grapes at a partner winegrower in Alsace then we bring the grapes in whole bunches to Courbevoie (suburb of Paris) where they are vinified. We harvest the grapes by hand and then put the crates in refrigerated trucks. 6 hours 15 minutes of driving then arriving in Courbevoie we continue with winemaking. The grapes arrive at 8°C in the cellar. HAS like a red wine but with white grapes (the maceration wine technique), the grapes are immediately destemmed and crushed then pumped into a stainless steel vat. A cold maceration of 48 hours then fermentation begins, we do daily pumping over for 161 days then we press the grapes and 8 months of aging in vats.
