Porcelaine Moderne was born in 2020 with the desire to reinvent ceramics through a minimalist and poetic aesthetic. Each creation combines simplicity of forms and elegance of gilding, offering everyday objects carrying messages and emotions. Made in France in our workshop in the South-West, the smooth white earthenware pieces are shaped by hand using the plate method, before being covered with a shiny enamel which reveals the texture of the material. The texts and patterns, gilded with fine gold using a brush, are then fixed during a third firing, guaranteeing a refined and durable finish.
