Push away, it's a family story. 4 generations of enthusiasts who have followed one another on the farm since 1929. Today, it is Virginie and Marius, mother and son, who run the family business in Thilliers en Vexin, in the Eure department, 75km from Paris.
Aware of the current limits and difficulties of conventional agriculture, in 2017 they undertook the conversion to organic farming and a diversification of farm activities. Attentive to new consumption habits and keen to offer a healthier diet closer to nature, they have embarked on the cultivation of edible seeds: quinoa, lentils, chickpeas and flax, each of which has many virtues and offer so many health benefits.
From sowing to direct sale, including harvesting and sorting the seeds, everything happens on the farm, thanks to the investment in a sorting chain and the employment of an employee. In this way, Virginie and Marius have perfect control of their production and ensure that they offer the best quality to their customers.
Not content with being one of the only women at the head of a farm in the region, Virginie continues to cultivate her uniqueness by seeking to produce differently while anticipating consumer habits. While providing daily support on the farm, Marius cultivates his independence with the creation of an outdoor laying henhouse.
