Prax viel is a Corbières diamond; a complex domain composed of several activities: vineyard, breeding, holiday homes etc. It is located in the south of France, in one of the most beautiful villages in France, called Lagrasse. It is located between the Mediterranean Sea and the famous medieval city of Carcassonne.
During the painful Covid 19 pandemic, we decided to move to the south of France, to leave the city life we had lived, to seek the sun, the Mediterranean sea, the smell of rosemary, the sweetness of figs and of course the good wines. After a long search, we finally found the domain of Prax Viel, a vineyard in the middle of the Corbières, famous wine region of the Cathar country. We immediately decided to make our "winemaker's dream" come true here at Prax Viel.
Wine for us is an art. The art of color, smell, taste, food-wine pairings... When we make our wine, we want our wine to have structure. Drinking wine likes to enjoy art, which impresses at the beginning, followed by relaxation and comfort, gives sweetness at the end.
We hope our wine is elegant and beautiful. Our wine will decorate the table. We work hard not only on the wine itself but also on the bottle. Each label is designed by artists, inspired by art-nouveau, to blend the art of visual effect with the art of winemaking.

Prax viel is a diamond in the Corbières; a complex domain consisting of multi activities: vineyard, animal farming, holiday houses etc. It is located in South France, in one of the most beautiful villages of France, called Lagrasse. It is between the Mediterranean Sea and the famous medieval city Carcassonne.
During the painful pandemic of Covid 19, we determined to move to the south of France, to quit the city life that we had been living and getting tired of, to pursue the sunshine of the mediterranean sea, the smell of the rosemary, the sweet of the figs and of course the good wines. We determined immediately to realize our "wine dream" here in Prax Viel.
