Aloe vera is a plant with fleshy, spiny leaves that grows in desert climates such as the southern United States and Mexico. The active principles are polysaccharides and anthraquinones (aloin, alanosides and aloe-emodol), to which it owes its properties. In low doses of one to two tablespoons, aloe vera acts at the stomach and cholagogue level. In average doses of three to four tablespoons, it is a laxative that acts on the large intestine. And in high doses, aloe vera is a purgative. How to use: take 15-30ml two or three times a day. Once opened, keep refrigerated.
