Torroncini with almonds and honey, 200 g, Pruneddu

High-quality raw materials, old family recipes and traditional techniques: this is the idea of quality at Pruneddu. For the production of the classic nougat, only quality honey from the best productions is used. There are also high-quality walnuts, hazelnuts and almonds. Pruneddu does not use sugar, glucose syrup and preservatives. The nuts are selected by hand and those with the slightest defect are discarded. The product is processed sequentially in small batches of no more than 60 kg. Torrone from Tonara is rather hard due to the high honey content and adapts to the ambient temperature. If it's hard, simply set it on a heat source to cut or eat it, or pop it on a plate in the microwave for a few seconds. If it is too soft, it will harden again in the fridge or freezer.
