La Fava is both the name of the legume (split pea precisely) and the name of the yellow-colored dish reminiscent of the suspended moments in Greek taverns. It is on the plateaux of Feneos, in the region of Corinth at an altitude of 600 meters that the producers have produced with passion, for many generations, the Lathouri from which Fava Feneou has come. Fava is now certified by the European Union as a Controlled Designation of Origin. It is usually served cold or warm as a mezze and sometimes hot as a main course.
