100% pure and natural essential oil obtained by steam distillation of the leaves of Ocimum basilicum. Exotic Basil, native to Asia, is an annual aromatic plant 20 to 50 cm tall, with green leaves and small white flowers or roses. It is grown in Madagascar but thrives throughout the Mediterranean basin. Present everywhere as an ornamental and medicinal plant in the West, it is also dedicated in India to the wife Vishnu and enjoys a religious status. Use: Food flavoring (FEMA n°: 2119 / CoE n°: 308n) Food dosage: 1 drop in a dish for 5 people (never exceed 2%) Always use the essential oil diluted in a suitable support (example: oil vegetable, honey, etc. Soluble in alcohol, fatty substances (vegetable oils and butters) and emulsions (creams). Insoluble in water. It is however possible to use it as a mixture in these types of products but pre-mixed with Solubol (in this case it is necessary to put 4 times more solubol than essential oil).
