100% pure and natural essential oil obtained by steam distillation of the leaves of Pogostemon cablin. Patchouli is an aromatic shrub from tropical forests with large leaves, twigs and fragrant flowers. Its perfume reputed to be aphrodisiac in Asian countries and protective of Indian carpets, it was in bad taste in the 19th century because it referred to ladies of little virtue in France. It is distinguished by its rich aroma, woody and nuanced with notes of incense. Use: Food flavoring (FEMA n°: 2838 / CoE n°: 353n) Food dosage: 1 drop in a dish for 5 people (never exceed 2%) Always use the essential oil diluted in a suitable support (ex: vegetable oil, honey...) Soluble in alcohol, fatty substances (vegetable oils and butters) and creams (emulsions). Insoluble in water. It is however possible to use it as a mixture in these types of products but pre-mixed with Solubol (in this case it is necessary to put 4 times more solubol than essential oil).
