100% pure and natural essential oil obtained by distillation (steam distillation) of the twigs and leaves of Citrus aurantium L. ssp. amara. The Bigaradier or "Bitter orange tree" is a tree that bears bigarades, also called "bitter oranges", fruits unsuitable for consumption, smaller than sweet oranges, with thick and rough bark and acrid and acid pulp. Formerly called "apple mède", there are different types of petit grain essential oils (petit grain mandarin, petit grain lemon...) but the petit grain bigarade is only obtained from the twigs and leaves of the bitter orange tree ( not fruit). The distillation of its flowers makes it possible to obtain the essence of orange blossom or essence of Neroli.
