We are a young Hamburg coffee roaster. We look for specialty coffees on the best coffee farms in the world, roast, process and sell the gently roasted coffee from our houseboat, which is anchored on the Elbe.
We want to make the art of making coffee accessible to everyone.
"Public" stands for the public interest that we want to arouse for specialty coffee and its versatility, and for the transparency of our products and services. We see coffee preparation as a craft and coffee as a multi-faceted quality product. We attach great importance to sustainability, know-how and a fresh, gentle and individual roast.
