The straw is made of 100% medical grade silicone and consists of 2 parts – a mouthpiece and a straight straw that reaches the bottom of the bottle. This allows children to drink in two ways: the straw can be used to drink by holding the bottle upright, but the straw can also be removed, leaving only the mouthpiece, and then the bottle can be used to drink by holding it at an angle. Unlike the original straw, the free flow straw does not have a valve, which allows the liquid to flow more freely through the straw. Pura bottles can be used to freeze liquid, use the silicone sealing disk, which is available separately. Do not overfill the bottle, the liquid expands when it freezes (no more than 200 ml in the 260 ml bottle). Cleaning and sterilization The Pura thermos bottles are not dishwasher safe due to the insulation wall. You can wash these by hand with a mild soap and a bottle and teat brush. Avoid using harsh cleaning agents as they may damage the bottle. The silicone parts of the Pura bottles are dishwasher safe.
