Kyphi Sandalwood - Incense Blend Evening Incense in Ancient Egypt

Kyphi is a traditional and probably the most well-known evening incense in ancient Egypt. URecorded on the Ebers Papyrus, one of the oldest medical texts that has survived to modern times. The production takes months and includes 18 different ingredients, which were also traditionally formed into small balls. We have deviated from the traditional shape and offer our Kyphi in a diamond shape. With the higher contact surface we achieve the best fragrance experience. When it comes to ingredients, we adhere to tradition and produce them as faithfully as possible according to traditional recipes. Whoever burns Kyphi in the evening will be granted peace and quiet. This variant is refined with white sandalwood powder. We deviated from the original “spherical shape” and opted for a “diamond shape”. Since a diamond has a larger contact surface than a ball, we achieve an almost perfect result when smoking on a stainless steel tray. We recommend using it on a stainless steel smoking tray, which is lit with a tea light (burning time 4 hours).)is heated.
