After more than a decade of extraordinary adventures across the African continent as a family, Justin and Anna decided to return to Europe with their two little girls in 2012. Having both fallen in love with Provence in their youth, they decided to vacation there.
During their stay, they realized that they had never seen a distillery there producing internationally renowned spirits, such as gin or vodka. This is how QVT, their new challenge, was born.
Justin devoted most of his time to developing the project for five years, visiting distilleries in the United States, United Kingdom and Germany, where he acquired an in-depth knowledge of the science and art of distillation. .
Anna and Justin had both worked in complex project management jobs in challenging environments in the past and they brought those experiences to bear when establishing the QVT Distillery.
