Deep plate cm.22.5 Barocchetto Rex

This decoration called "Barocchetto Rex" is the faithful reproduction of one of the services in use on the T/N Roma, T/N Augustus and T/N Rex, some of the most famous passenger ships built in Italy and launched on the route in the 1930s. Genoa - New York.  This service was reserved for large banquets on board ocean liners and was commissioned for the first time to the Radif company at the end of the 1920s by the "Italian General Navigation" (see NGI coat of arms reproduced on the plate).  Today it is proposed again for professional catering, under the exclusive concession of the Società Italia di Navigazione itself.
