Kami, the ecological environmental lantern made of paper

Inspired by the thousand-year-old tradition of Japanese paper lanterns, we created Kami*, which represents their ephemeral beauty. 

Kami is similar to a delicate and precious origami from which it takes its name (ori-kami).

 Kami is the result of the completely made in Italy collaboration between Rippotai and Fedrigoni, the historic and renowned Italian paper mill. 

The design of the lantern takes shape starting from the characteristics of Fedrigoni's fine papers, selected by Rippotai.

 Inside the lantern there is a touch LED lamp (with visible button), dimmable and rechargeable via USB. 

The workmanship of the lantern is made by hand with artisanal care, which effectively makes Kami a delicate and precious object.
