RISVIG Lignus Casserole has been developed so that you can place your pots and pans on the dining table, or when you are cooking in the kitchen and need a place where you can place your pots and pans. The pot grate is made of oak and thus has good antibacterial properties. The wood comes untreated so you have the light oak color. If you choose not to treat it with soap or oil, be aware that the wood has an easier time absorbing color and fat. Maintenance: We recommend saturating the wood with a suitable oil to make the cutting board more resistant, e.g. grape oil which does not become rancid or odorless. Be aware that the wood will change color when you use soap or oil. Once you have used your board, wash it on both sides and let it dry upright to prevent it from cracking. Do not wash the board in the washing machine. Scratches can be removed using fine-grained sandpaper. Do not use coarser sandpaper than grain 150. Odors can be removed by sprinkling coarse salt on the board and then rubbing half a lemon around the board. Wash it afterwards with mild soap.
