Silk carpets from Qom are among the most expensive Persian carpets that can be purchased today. The fine carpets have patterns from very different regions of Iran. However, the patterns are predominantly floral. Medallions can be found as well as elaborately knotted hunting scenes. Wool carpets from Qom usually have up to 600.000 knots/m2.
