ROQUEPERTUSE French IPA 33cl and 75cl

Inspired by IPAs from the West Coast of the United States and brewed with local hops, ROQUEPERTUSE French IPA is thirst-quenching with a frank and resinous bitterness where notes of citrus and fruit are expressed. Silver Medal at the 2025 Brignoles Agricultural Competition Alc. 5.5% 100% French Hops 100% Local Malts IPAs have a history dating back to the British colonization of India. These very hoppy beers were made to withstand the journeys of merchant ships for months in extreme conditions. Thus, the settlers of the Indies could rediscover the flavors of the beers of their country and drink with nostalgia to their homeland.

However, this style almost fell into oblivion, being intended for a specific market which ended with the industrial era and the end of colonization.

When we talk about IPAs these days, we tend to think of American IPAs. It was the latter who profoundly renewed the style by offering hoppy beers inspired by English IPAs and brewed with American hops with explosive aromas of citrus, exotic fruits, flowers... Our ROQUEPERTUSE French IPA, directly inspired by the first American IPAs brewed on the West Coast, takes up the codes while standing out with its exclusive hopping with hops from our French terroir. On the cereal side, slightly honeyed notes on herbal and citrus hoppy aromas. The resinous and dry finish makes this beer the delicate balance between an explosion of flavors and a thirst-quenching sensation. Brewed with cereals grown in the south of France, we are proud to offer you local beers that reflect our beautiful Provence. The hops we use are grown in our French terroir, particularly in Alsace and the south of France. Our beers draw their identity from both the Provençal soil and our rich French terroir, with the aim of producing in a short circuit, zero waste and limiting intermediaries as much as possible. The richness of our agriculture is fully expressed in the products we offer you.
