It was during various trips that the passion for beer arrived for Alice and me who quickly got into the habit of visiting local breweries and tasting their beers whenever we had the opportunity. Alice, then studying microbiology, took courses on fermentation and the idea came: “Why not make our own beer?” ".We both developed a passion for amateur brewing, with Alice's skills in microbiology, and improved our equipment and know-how over the years.
At the beginning of 2019, I had been an engineer in an IT company for 4 years and I needed to change direction and wanted to return to my roots. Following a few good meetings, a lot of reading, additional training at the Duchman brewery, the project was launched!
The LVZ brewery (abbreviation of LéVéZou) was founded in June 2019 in ALRANCE in Aveyron. Small production of 500l per month, then 1000l from May 2021! This remained very small but allowed us to approach things gradually.
At the end of 2022, after 4 years of operation, the brewery which has won over a good local clientele must take a step forward to meet more volume and enter a more sustainable production method. LVZ is therefore teaming up with the NOISELESS brewery to create a collaborative brewing workshop called L'ATELIER CRAFT BEER.
The brewery offers organic beers in rather traditional styles and with modern designs in can and bottle formats.
