THE STORY BEHIND THE IDEA
As a father of a child, I am of course interested in giving him a healthy diet. One day my wife and I decided to go to the park with our one-year-old son and packed some fruits in a standard plastic lunch box as a snack. Although our child had never shown an aversion to fruit or fruits up to that point, he still didn't want to eat it when I offered him something - which of course irritated me a lot. I tried a piece myself and immediately noticed the unpleasant smell of our dishwasher, in which the can had been washed shortly before. The fruit was almost inedible.
So the next day I decided to pack the fruit in a stainless steel box and lo and behold - my son enjoyed the fruit as usual. To be on the safe side, I tried it again myself and could say with a clear conscience that it tasted exactly like home - natural and fresh.
At that moment in the park I realized that the chemicals get directly into our food via the plastic container and are therefore automatically transferred into our bodies. When we got back home, we immediately banned all existing plastic boxes from our household.
2017: Founding
We were looking for high-quality stainless steel lunch boxes for our children because we didn't want to transport the food in plastic boxes. Since we were very dissatisfied with the selection on all marketplaces, we decided to take matters into our own hands and create a brand with the aim of producing high-quality stainless steel lunch boxes that are free of plastic. We wanted to develop a stainless steel lunch box that offers many compartments because children love trying out many different foods. To ensure the highest quality of our products, we have had all of our models tested for EU LFGB conformity by TÜV Südasia. Only after the products have successfully passed all tests do we introduce the products to the Amazon market.
2019: Kid-Friendly & Soft-Close Clips
We wanted to continue innovation in our product line and decided to develop lunch boxes with toddler-friendly soft clips. The clips should be stable, have no sharp edges and have a soft-close mechanism so that children do not injure their fingers. We took on this challenge and developed the D-Lock concept, which is equipped with flexible dividers so that different foods can be transported in a lunch box. This system is also perfect for on the go. The D-Lock boxes have also been tested by TÜV South Asia for LFGB EU compatibility and with the love of customers we have reached the big milestone of 10.000 highly satisfied customers reached.
