Just below the fortress of Polignac, in AUVERGNE-Rhône Alpes, and more precisely in Haute-Loire; From the renovation of an old abandoned outbuilding of the Princess of Polignac, was born, in this small village classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France, La Soapery La Rose Trémière.
Created in April 2015, after 4 years of work in the soap industry, Amélie, a 30-year-old budding soap maker, started…
The name Hollyhock was obvious because in this Altiliger village many hollyhocks bloom which charm the town of Polignac throughout the summer season.

Trained in aromatherapy and soap making, Amélie, a soap maker, produces soaps using the cold saponification method.
The principle is to mix fatty substances with an alkaline solution.
All this at very low temperatures so as not to alter the quality of the vegetable oils and essential oils used. The advantage of this gentle and slow method is that it naturally creates glycerine inside the soap, resulting in an ultra-gentle soap for the skin. In addition, this ancestral technique, which does not consume much energy and consumes little water, is healthy for the environment.
Inspired by nature, Amélie's niche are plants and plants. She uses their virtues to choose the raw materials used. The ingredients used come from organic farming and as far as possible from local farming.
Each recipe is his invention, and no soap has the same proportions of ingredients.
The soaps remain in cure for 24 to 48 hours before moving to the drying area for 4 to 8 weeks...
The soaps are superfatted, either with precious oils or by reduction of soda, or often both, which makes them ultra-gentle soaps for the skin.
The entire range of soaps and cosmetics has been under the nature and progress label since 2017, a guarantee of high economic and ecological quality.

Dyes are just clays or spices. No preservatives are used.

Amélie's profession is a passion, which was born over the years, out of curiosity and growing love for nature. Its commitment to Nature et Progrès helps it progress each year towards a system that corresponds to its vision of the future.
