Benzoin is a resin from various plants present from Greece to Indonesia, with which many incenses are made. Its strong, richly woody smell makes it a highly prized product in perfumery. Benzoin essential oil has healing and antibacterial properties. It is also known for its soothing properties and its ability to stimulate the nervous system.
