DE-ÖKO-006 Our reddish-brown to black Kalamata olives in organic quality are grown on the Pelopponese peninsula, in the Laconia region. The naturally grown, very aromatic and fruity olives are lovingly harvested and pitted by hand. They are then placed in large barrels (in water and sea salt) to debitter them. This process can take several weeks. Only then are the olives edible. Our Kalamata organic olives are filled into jars exclusively with a brine consisting of water, wine vinegar and sea salt. 100% natural product in organic quality without pasteurization and without dyes or preservatives.
